So here we are. Bob and I twenty years later. Its seems like forever ago that we first met, and then again seems like yesterday. We were just kids. I remember the first time I saw him. This girl that was just madly in love with him, she was my first friend in Frankfort. I was just 13 years old. We were at the library and she showed me a picture of this boy in the yearbook. She said his name was Bob and she just LOOOOVED him. I did think he was cute, but did I think I would marry him someday? I bet she didnt think so.
The first time we met he was wearing a leather jacket with fringe, and he had long blond curly hair.How funny that he wanted to be like Jon Bon Jovi and I wanted to marry Jon Bon Jovi. I thought he was such a nice guy and would be a great friend. He was a great friend to me, before he even became my boyfriend. he says the firt time he ever saw me, he was in lunch and told the guys sitting at his table that he was going to marry "that girl". He didnt even know my name then, they all made fun of him. Years later they all remembered that he said it. I think he paid them to say that. :O)
I remember he walked me home one time when I was babysitting with a friend. It was snowing and we wrote our names in the snow, he gave me a piggyback ride all the way so my feet wouldnt get wet. He was funny, he was smart, he just didnt seem like other guys. I am so glad he was different. That is what made me fall for him and never look back. I wish I kept all the notes and all of the things he has give me over the years, but there have been so many, and so many years.
We are still young 34 and 35, we were 15 and 16 when we started our journey. It's been a bumpy and scary ride. We did it and made it this far. I love him more than words can say. We have six wonderful kids, he is a wonderful father and my best friend. I couldnt ask for anything more.
